It is a nice airport, although there are problems just like any airport, but these I think are worth pointing out. 1. Restrooms are VERY dirty. I flew in on a Sunday night which may explain why the restrooms are the way they were, but I don't think in two days they could have gotten that dirty. Piles of discarded magazines lay everywhere. The floors of ALL the stalls were covered in used toilet paper. Hopefully by now this was fixed. 2. Rude traffic guards. This airport has a lot of nice employees, but the traffic guards at Terminal C are very obnoxious at will yell at you for walking to slow or taking to long to load your luggage. Hopefully they were disciplined. 3. Poor Roads. A few of the roads around the airport are very rough and bumpy and full of potholes, especially Will Clayton PKWY. I believe they are fixing this now so it shouldn't be a problem for long. Overall it's not a bad airport compared to Detroit of Cleveland, but for America's 3rd largest city I think it can do better.

A very nice airport! Really big, and allows you to have good food options. For big and small, a lot of varieties as well. Very convenient since everything is well labeled, you won't get lost so easily :) The only thing is that people working here should smile a little bit more, making people that are international would feel a little bit more heart warming, since they are far away from home in the middle of a foreign country.

Whoever this outstanding employee is, I thank you for being the kind of person who’s energy radiates through your smile. This man walks around and greets anyone in his path and you can instantly feel his sincerity. Hearts like that are rare in life but even more so in a place like a busy airport. George Bush Intercontinental should count themselves lucky to have someone of that caliber representing them. Few are called and even fewer chosen to be the best amongst us. My hat off to you good sir.

Very impressed with this airport. This was my first time coming to Texas and I wasn't sure how a big airport would measure. It's very spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of space, and an ample amount of outlets to charge your electronics. In addition, they have reasonably priced items at the food court that don't make your wallet cry. The staff and the greeters have been very polite, the airport security aren't rude and show disrespect to the passengers for no reason. It's very clean and there is plenty of lighting along with natural solar lighting. I will gladly stop by this airport again whether it be a visit to Houston or just a transfer to the airport, very impressive. It does boggle my mind that some of these reviewers are so incompetent that they can't distinguish where to give credit to when complaining about something. Some ppl are mad about an airlines, that's not the airport's fault. Give a negative review about that airline for how they screwed you over, not the airport. It's not don't ever go to this airport, it's don't ever pick such and such airline.

This is a great airport. Easy to get around in, lots of flight options, so many options for food and shopping! Also, there's a tiny subway that takes you right into the adjacent Marriott. Super convenient.
